Here are some of the great pitching matchups to watch and wager on for Thursday.
Boston Red Sox at Toronto Blue Jays

The Red Sox will send Andrew Miller to the hill. The lankly lefty couldn't get out of the second inning on Friday against the Rangers, allowing six runs in 1 1/3 innings as he submitted the shortest outing for a Sox starter all season. This will be his first career start vs. the Jays.

Ricky Romero allowed five runs in 6 2/3 innings during his last start against the Yankees. It was his first loss since July 16 against New York and the most runs he's surrendered since July 6 in Boston. He is 6-1 with a 2.54 ERA in his past nine starts

LA Dodgers at Washington Nationals

Chad Billingsley has gone a month and five starts without a victory. After another shaky outing in Atlanta on Friday, he said that he's struggling with his mechanics and hasn't been able to pinpoint what's wrong.

In his last start, Detwiler lasted three innings and allowed six runs on seven hits against the Mets. He was hit hard and often, and it was the long ball that did him in.

Philadelphia Phillies at Milwaukee Brewers

Cole Hamels turned in another strong performance against the Marlins, but came away empty-handed. The lefty made two mistakes, giving up a pair of homers over seven solid innings but the bullpen blew the lead in the eighth and he took a no-decision.

Chris Narveson admitted feeling rusty in his last start on Saturday, after going 13 days between starts. But he got through five innings for win No. 10, giving the Brewers five double-digit winners for the first time since 1982

These will provide some entertaining baseball games to watch and wager on this week.
