| NC State Trying To Salvage Losing Season With Win Against The Duke Blue Devils |

North Carolina State is struggling to win games and just 1-6 on the road this season. It has gotten so bad that Coach Sidney Lowe is trying new tactics to win ballgames. The Wolfpack coach used a 2-3 zone for much of the first half of the home loss to Virginia Tech. It failed miserably as the Pack got killed on the boards 27-12 and fell behind 39-26 at the break. Lowe even tried forward Kendall Smith, who had not played at all in the six previous games. That didn’t work, either. The Pack is 83-72 in Lowe’s four-plus seasons, without an NCAA Tournament appearance. Lowe is running out of time. Only a win against the fifth ranked Blue Devils on the road, could possibly save his season, but don’t look for that to happen. The Blue Devils recovered from a rough outing by winning in an unlikely venue when they toppled Maryland as seniors Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith combined for 43 points in an 80-62 victory. Duke rebounded after an ugly loss and is back on the winning track. The Wolfpack are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600, 0-8 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Duke Blue Devils may not be playing great basketball when it comes to covering the number, but they won’t have to against the lowly NC State Wolfpack. Duke wins big and covers double digits in this ACC tilt. Play on Duke
