| No. 1 ranked Ohio State Looks to Remain Unbeaten Against Minnesota |

Ohio State looks like the team to beat in college basketball. Freshman Jared Sullinger had 19 points and 15 rebounds and the top-ranked Buckeyes beat Michigan 62-53 for their second 23-0 start in school history and they are 10-0 in the Big Ten for the first time since 1961-62. While leading the nation as the No. 1 team in the polls, the Buckeyes are also tops in the country in scoring margin, with a 20.9-point differential. Ohio State also was tops in the nation in fewest fouls per game with a 14.1 average. They have showed lapses on defense and problems with double teams on Sullinger which could be a problem against Minnesota. The 18th-ranked Gophers have one of the biggest front lines in the country with 6-foot-11 Ralph Sampson III, 6-11 Colton Iverson and 6-8 Trevor Mbakwe all in the starting lineup. This depth and size down low will give the Buckeyes problems in this meeting. The Gophers nearly knocked off the Buckeyes in the teams’ first meeting Jan. 9. The Gophers are using three post players in their starting rotation. The alignment could help them limit national player of the year candidate Jared Sullinger. Minnesota was looking ahead to this meeting when they lost to Indiana and they will be focused and has a realistic chance of pulling off an upset. Play on Minnesota
