| Surging Bulls Travel To Charotte To Take On Bobcats |
After getting past some early season injuries the Bulls are clicking on all cylinders now. The Bulls recently got defensive and rebounding powerhouse Joakim Noah back in the lineup after missing 30 games due to injury and Carlos Boozer is rounding into form after missing time at the first of the year. The Bulls have made a ton of money this year for NBA basketball betting enthusiasts. As of March 6th they’ve got a 37-23-1 record against the pointspread. They’re currently on a 12-4 ATS run in their past 16 games. Charlotte Bobcats’ owner Michael Jordan has made no bones about the teams’ effort to shed payroll and free up cap space. This included a recent trade that sent the expansion franchise’s last remaining ‘original’ player, Gerald Wallace, to Portland. Despite this austerity program the Bobcats have remained competitive for new head coach Paul Silas. They’re only one game off the pace for a playoff berth and have a winning record at Time Warner Cable Arena. Their undoing has been substandard road play and from a pointspread standpoint they’re right around breakeven in every ATS category. At some point, we’ve got to be concerned about the Bulls having a ‘letdown’ game. They’ve played and beaten an impressive list of opponents lately including the Miami Heat (twice), Orlando and San Antonio. Of course we’ve kept our eyes open for a Bulls ‘flat spot’ for the past few weeks and haven’t really seen one yet. This is a team that is reaching a level to compete for an Eastern Conference championship and NBA title. Somewhat tricky scheduling spot for the Bulls—a ‘one off’ road game amid a four game home run—but the way Chicago has been playing the past couple of weeks they’re hard to pass up in any situation. The hometown Bobcats will likely give a good account of themselves here but they’re simply not in the same class as the Bulls. Look for a Chicago win and cover here. Tags:
