The Golden State Warriors are Playing out the String Against the San Antonio Spurs
Spurs Travel To ‘Mile High City’ To Take On NuggetsThe Golden State Warriors are all but eliminated from the playoff picture and will have little motivation when they travel to San Anotnio to take on the Spurs. The Warriors have struggled mightily against the Spurs on the road and there is no reason to believe this trip will be any different.

BetPhoenix is the best online sportsbook to wager on the NBA and they have the latest odds on this and all other games on the schedule.

The Spurs are playing so well that they can beat a team clawing to make the playoffs with one arm behind their back.

That's basically how the Spurs played it Saturday night at home against the Charlotte Bobcats, who are just 1 1/2 games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich gave Tim Duncan the night off after he scored 22 points Friday night in an impressive road win at Dallas.

Popovich also gave Manu Ginobili a light workload, playing him just 19 minutes. That meant both of San Antonio's All-Stars were virtual non-factors while the Spurs improved to an NBA-best 56-13.

If the Spurs work over a team that has a shot at the playoffs, just imagine how badly they will treat the visiting Warriors. The Warriors have been a bad bet in San Antonio over the years and 2011 will yield the same results.

The Warriors are 7-18-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings and 3-13 ATS in the last 16 meetings in San Antonio.

The Warriors have basically given up on the season, while the Spurs are getting tuned up for a long playoff run and a shot at an NBA Championship.
