Two Cinderella’s Meet in No. 11 VCU and No. 10 Florida State
The New York Knicks host the Milwaukee Bucks Trying to hold onto the seventh spotThe NCAA Tournament is exciting because of the underdogs that advance deep into the tournament. The VCU Rams and the Florida State Seminoles are two of the teams that have excited fans and busted brackets in 2011.

Bet Phoenix is the best online sportsbook to wager on the College Basketball and they have the latest odds on this and all other games on the schedule.

When VCU is at its best it is playing a furious defense, pressing as the ball comes up the court and trying to wear down an opponent. It is a team with quickness and a great ball thief in PG Joey Rodriguez. The Rams shot lights out in the tournament, much of it because they have passed so well, setting up easy basket. They are best when the scoring is spread out with Bradford Burgess, Jamie Skeen, Brandon Rozzell and Rodriguez hitting double figures. They also have a great defender in G Ed Nixon.

Chris Singleton was the ACC Defensive Player of the Year as FSU lives mostly off its defense. This should be nothing new to a VCU team that had to face both Old Dominion and Drexel in its own conference, two hard-nosed defensive and rebounding powers. The biggest question coming into the game is whether FSU can carry on the offense that it used to demolish Notre Dame as they have not been a good offensive team during the season.

Florida State shot lights out and played tough defense against a Notre Dame team that was a No. 2 seed and some felt should have had a No. 1 seed. But VCU is a horse of a different color than Notre Dame, which is more a plodding team that shots 3s. VCU creates a lot of its offense off its defense and likes to run, run, run. They don’t have a Ben Hansbrough shooter like Notre Dame but that may work in their favor for they go with the hot hand. PG Joey Rodriguez runs the show at a high rpm and Bradford Burgess and Jamie Skeen offer an inside/outside game that is hard to defend.

The Seminoles are 4-0 ATS in their last four neutral site games and bring their top defense to the Elite Eight.
