The No. 4 Kentucky Wildcats Provide a Real Challenge to the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes
The No. 4 Kentucky Wildcats Provide a Real Challenge to the No. 1 Ohio State BuckeyesThe Ohio State Buckeyes are the best team in college basketball and have yet to face a real challenge in the NCAA Tournament. That is until they face the Kentucky Wildcats in the sweet 16.

BetPhoenix is the best online sportsbook to wager on the College Basketball and they have the latest odds on this and all other games on the schedule.

The Wildcats need to get the kind of game from freshman PG Brandon Knight that he delivered against West Virginia (30 points, four assists) and have F Josh Harrellson (30 points, 18 rebounds in two NCAA games) continue delivering inside. Junior G Darius Miller, who had only three points against West Virginia, must contribute more.

Kentucky’s defense inside with senior Josh Harrellson and Terrence Jones working against Ohio State’s Jared Sullinger and Dallas Lauderdale will be a big factor, but the Wildcats also must keep the Buckeyes’ three-point attack from getting in gear. Jon Diebler (110-220), William Buford 63-135), and David Lighty (50-of-115) have combined to shoot 47.4 percent from the three-point arc. The length of 6-7 Darius Miller, 6-6 DeAndre Liggins, and 6-3 Brandon Knight could make a difference on the perimeter for the Wildcats.

Kentucky didn’t exactly light it up from three-point territory in its two NCAA wins (11-of-29), but F Josh Harrellson really stepped up his play. He has a knack for being in the right place for the rebound and garbage basket. The Wildcats have relied pretty much on six players to carry the bulk of the load for the season and it was that way in the NCAA tourney as well. G Darius Miller played 74 and Harrellson 72 of a possible 80 minutes in the two games.

The Wildcats are 4-1 against the spread in the last five games on a neutral site and against the Big Ten. The Wildcats take down the best team in the country and advance to the Elite Eight.
