The Pacers will soon getting some help on offense. Guard Mike Dunleavy, who has missed the past 19 games with a broken thumb, was cleared to play Monday. However, interim coach Frank Vogel held Dunleavy out in Monday's victory over the Boston Celtics because he's yet to practice.

Dunleavy was hurt Feb. 22, and he had surgery on the thumb Feb. 25.The Pacers have missed Dunleavy's ability to move without the basketball. He sets the tone in that area for the rest of the team. Vogel has yet to determine how he'll use Dunleavy because a lot will depend on how quickly he gets back into game shape. He will be a welcome addition to a team that could be on their way to the NBA playoffs.

As bad as things have been this season for the Pacers, the team is still only one victory away from extending its streak of at least a .500 record at home to 22 straight seasons. The Pacers shot 55 percent from the field against Boston to improve their record to 10-3 when shooting better than 50 percent. F Danny Granger, C Roy Hibbert, G Darren Collison and G A.J. Price all made at least 50 percent of their attempts.

The Pistons are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings and 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Indiana.
