The New York Knicks Look For a win against the Boston Celtics
The New York Knicks Look For a win against the Boston CelticsThe New York Knicks seemed to control the tempo in game one, but in crunch time, it was the Big Three of the Boston Celtics that won the game. With game two quickly approaching, the Knicks will try and steal home court advantage with a win over the Celtics.

Ray Allen buried a three-pointer with 11.6 seconds left to deliver the Celts from deficits as large as 12 points. When Carmelo Anthony missed a hurried trey at the other end, the Celts had a 1-0 edge in this best-of-seven first round playoff series.

Amare Stoudemire led New York with 28 points, but he was the visitors' only real threat over the final 24 minutes. After scoring 51 points in the opening half, the Knicks produced just 34 points on 32.6 percent shooting thereafter.

Jermaine O'Neal and Glenn Davis played admirably down low as the Boston Celtics played without Shaquille O'Neal. The Knicks may have to play a game or two without one of their best players.

Point guard Chauncey Billups went down with a hurt knee driving the lane late in the game. Billups was removed from the game and never returned. Toney Douglas filled in admirably and hit a clutch three point shot late in the game.

Carmelo Anthony struggled in this game. He got into foul trouble early and had to sit out most of the first half. In the second half he never found his touch and missed a chance to tie the game at the buzzer.

Anthony will find his touch in game two and the Knicks will get the win.
