The Boston Celtics come out fighting against the Miami Heat in game two
The Boston Celtics come out fighting against the Miami Heat in game twoThe Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat were involved in a grueling game one, which the Heat won by nine points.

In the first game, the Celtics shot 25 percent in the first quarter and put up just 36 points in the first half, falling into a funk that doomed them for Game 1 Sunday in Miami. Rajon Rondo returned from foul trouble in the first half, but the Celtics trailed by as many as 19 before putting up a couple of futile runs. Ray Allen had 25 for Boston, but the visitors turned the ball over 14 times for 26 Miami points. And with Dwyane Wade scoring 38 points and James Jones adding 25 off the bench (5-for-7 treys), the Celts were in trouble.

Guard Dwyane Wade said it is impossible to deny the Big Three element of the series, what with the Heat possessing himself, LeBron James and Chris Bosh, and the Celtics armed with Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett.

Doc Rivers has been with the Celtics every day since the beginning of training camp. He has seen the team get off to a great start and then win five straight after a major overhaul in February. Then he watched his team stumble to the end of the regular season before sweeping the Knicks in the first round of the playoffs.

After Game 1 against Miami, there is still room to question just how good they are.

All the Heat players who were on the club last season would like to get back at the Celts for knocking them out in the opening round. LeBron James wanted another shot at the Celtics, who eliminated his Cavaliers in 2008 and 2010. And starting Miami point guard Mike Bibby lost to Boston in seven games while he was with Atlanta in 2008. They got it in game one and now they will try to do it again in game two.

The Heat are playing too good right now to lose at home to the Boston Celtics.
