| American Idol Betting Fans Await Group 3's Performances on Tuesday |
Many viewers of America's most popular show knew he could sing, but wasn't sure how his colorful antics would affect his efforts of winning Season 8. But now we know and the only folks laughing are the books, who had the last laugh at the expense of the American Idol betting fans that invested in him to advance. However, with the season debut of the wild card round in place, there's a chance we could see Mitchell again. After next week's Group 3 performances, which returns to its regular airing days of Tuesday and Wednesday, three more competitors will be voted in and named on Wednesday. All three groups of 12 will have completed its journey and their will be nine contestants locked in. Then on Thursday the four-judge panel will converge and bring back one hopeful from each group previously voted off, completing the list of the final 12. If you bet on American Idol, that's when the action really heats up as books will re-set the odds on the 12 finalists. The three who most recently received the highest number of viewer votes to be locked in - not having the worries of relying on a wild card re-emergence - from Group 2 are Allison Iraheta, a 16-year-old high school student from Los Angeles; Kris Allen, a 23-year-old University of Central Arkansas student from Conway, Ark. and Adam Lambert, a 26-year-old theater actor from Los Angeles. While the show's four judges were more than satisfied with Lambert's elastic take on the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction," they had a mixed reaction to fellow finalist Allen's performance of Michael Jackson "Man in the Mirror." The panel was also impressed with red-haired Iraheta's red-hot rendition of Heart's "Alone." These three finalists will join Group 1's 28-year-old church music director Danny Gokey from Milwaukee, 21-year-old musician Alexis Grace from Memphis, Tenn., and 27-year-old oil rig worker Michael Sarver from Jasper, Texas. Next Tuesday, the third and final group of 12 more semifinalists will vie for three spots in the competition's top 12. Be sure you watch to stay abreast of all the happenings, which also provides great American Idol wagering insight and see why loyal sports betting fans are jumping aboard the money-making American Idol odds.
