The Top 13 performed a medley of hits of the Jackson 5, which set a record for the highest number of votes ever for this stage of the competition with a whopping 33 million votes. The first two voted off were Jorge Nunez and Jasmine Murray. After being voted off, the 20-year-old Puerto Rican Nunez dished about the season's big twist, the language barrier and what he'll do next. Murray, the 16-year-old student from Mississippi, complained about not getting saved by the judges and what she would've sung for country week. With the field trimmed to eleven and no saves made by the judges last week, this week's show is assured to have only one contestant voted off - unless they are spared by the judges. On Tuesday, March 17, the remaining finalists will perform songs popularized by members of the Grand Ole Opry with Randy Travis mentoring the competitors. Show time is 8:00pm-10:00pm EST. On Wednesday, a contestant will be sent home, as Randy Travis and Carrie Underwood perform, starting at 9:00pm-10:00pm EST all on FOX. If you bet on American Idol, here's a look at the eleven remaining Idol hopefuls, as well as, the most current BetPhoenix American Idol odds. Be sure to take advantage of the stellar money-making value that sports betting fans are also jumping on. Adam Lambert (+160)—The gossip bombshell of news that pictures had appeared on the Web of an outrageously dressed Adam Lambert tongue-kissing another man has become stale. Some say this will hurt his chances, but his voice is so good it’s fortuitous that's made him the odds on favorite to be the next American Idol. This 26-year-old theater actor from Los Angeles has one of the best voices of any and could easy win. Danny Gokey (+250)—Fan favorite 28-year-old church music director Danny Gokey from Milwaukee, WI provided the season’s earliest showstopper with Mariah Carey’s “Hero.” Armed with a fantastic voice (gravelly yet tender), likable personality (always friendly and disarming) and heart-wrenching background story (his wife died weeks before his first audition), he could be well on his way to this season’s top prize. Lil Rounds (+600)—Fans buzzing and judges swooning have compelled oddsmakers to push Lil Rounds into the top three. The 24-year-old mother of three from Memphis, TN surely has a great and powerful voice, but personally, she's picked several unfitting songs, which could prevent her from becoming the next Fantasia Barrino by capturing this season’s title. Though, she does have the coolest name of the group. Alexis Grace (+800)—Based on her stellar first performance, Alexis Grace has earned a lot of viewer's respect, which was a great first impression that obviously stuck as she's still around. She's a 21-year-old musician from Memphis, TN with a good voice but at this stage of the competition - good isn't enough. Allison Iraheta (+800)—Two years ago, this 16-year-old high school student from Los Angeles, Allison Iraheta, won a singing competition on Spanish-language TV network Telemundo. Kelly Clarkson comparisons are inevitable, but it seems America isn't feeling her vibes yet. Scott MacIntyre (+1200)—Scott MacIntyre is a 23-year-old college graduate from Scottsdale, AZ. He is a super-nice guy, and he is nearly blind but plays a strong piano. His choice of Bruce Hornsby’s “Mandolin Rain” a couple weeks back was good, but since then he was exposed as having by far one of the worst voices of this bunch. But his inspiring story and determination alone will earn him viewer's votes, however, don't expect him to be around for long. Matt Giraud, 23 (+1500)—This 23-year-old armature musician from Ypsilanti, MI has long been at or near the top of the competition despite re-appearing via a wild-card berth. But too often he allows his soulful riffs to stray well off course, and he will likely be voted off relatively soon. Kris Allen (+3000)—Kris Allen is a 23-year-old University of Central Arkansas student from Conway, AR, who's clean-cut and forgettable, but has the edge of a baseball ball. His voice is OK (and he plays the guitar), but only the 13-year-old-girl's vote can save him. Anoop Desai (+3500)—Having avoided an early-season elimination scare, fan super-favorite Anoop Dogg is in it for the long haul. But he's slightly behind in pure vocals, though viewers dig him and that's all that matters. If the 21-year-old college student from Chapel Hill, NC can slightly improve his vocals, he will be tough to beat. Megan Joy Corkery (+4000)—Megan Joy Corkery is a 23-year-old single mother from Salt Lake City, UT and her unusual and unique voice very much separates her from the rest. She is attractive, great personality, edgy and, as Simon likes to remind us, “current.” But it took a wild-card entry from the judges to keep her afloat, however, her distinct qualities and versatility to fit any theme makes her a threat to the rest. Hands down, she the best dark horse capable of surprising American Idol wagering nation. Michael Sarver (+5000)—Oil roughneck Michael Sarver slid by mostly on charm alone in Round One. An average Joe in every way, his mediocrity won’t have a long shelf life. He's a 27-year-old oil rig worker from Jasper, TX. When it's all said and done, it'll be back to the oil fields instead of a stage.

Also on Wednesday, it was announced until there's only five contestants remaining, the judges have the option of not having an elimination for one week only. If the judges decide to save a contestant that's voted off by the viewers, the following week becomes mandatory that two hopefuls will be sent home. If there's no saves made by the judges, the traditional one person a week is eliminated.
