Brock Lesnar will defend his UFC heavyweight title this weekend in his first action since a serious health problem threatened his career. This will be Lesnar’s first defense of the championship which he unified with a victory over interim champion Frank Mir at UFC 100. Since his loss to Brock Lesnar at UFC 100, Frank Mir has been obsessed with getting a rematch. That quest ran into a big roadblock on Saturday night in the person of Shane Carwin. With the interim heavyweight title at stake, Carwin overpowered Mir to earn a first round knockout victory in the UFC 111 co-main event. Carwin will now face Lesnar in July to unify the titles.
