Unbeaten Olympic Bronze Medalist David Price makes his return to the ring this Saturday night against former English Title Holder ‘Big Bad’ John McDermott in what is seen as a step up in class for Price in this British and Commonwealth title eliminator live from the Olympia in Liverpool and on Sky Sports 1.

Price has had a slow start to his career with picking up a few injuries along the way but has shown his impressive punching power when he destroyed Tom Dallas with a second round KO back in June of last year. Price is tipped as being the next star in the slowly flourishing domestic heavyweight scene and is hoping for some big domestic dust ups against the likes of Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora somewhere down the line but he has to get by this test first and adding a 12th straight victory.

John McDermott has had a steady domestic career and has been in some controversial match ups notable ones against Danny Williams and his first fight against Tyson Fury where most people believe McDermott was robbed on both occasions by dodgy decisions. But this is make or break time for McDermott he has lost 5 of his last 6 bouts and if he loses this we think he will hang up his gloves for good even though he did have an impressive first round knockout of Larry Olubamiwo in his last fight.

This is a make or break fight for Big Bad McFermott and a loss could send him into retirement which makes this a very interesting fight to tune into.
