If you’ve ever seen Dominick Cruz, you know Mike Easton. He’s the diminutive guy in Cruz’s corner filling the bantamweight champion’s ear with a constant stream of effusive praise. He’s a serviceable bantamweight with a 14-6-1 record who fights out of Team Hayastan and holds career wins over top flyweight Abel Cullum and former WEC veteran Karen Darabedyan. To put it simply, this is a showcase fight for Easton, and it’s one he should excel in. Expect him to wear Papazian down with his frantic pace before going in for the kill in the final frame. Easton should call the shots, but the great thing about UFC is one thing can change it all.
