The Kansas City Chiefs Try To Avoid a Blow out in San Diego Against the Chargers
The Kansas City Chiefs Try To Avoid a Blow out in San Diego Against the ChargersThe Kansas City Chiefs look as though they could be one of the worst teams in the NFL. They will be lucky to avoid getting blown out when they travel to San Diego to take on the Chargers. The latest NFL lines for this game and all of the other games on the schedule for this week will be found at online sportsbook BetPhoenix.
The Chiefs have been unable to put up an inspired game this season and every week they lose another star player to injury. They will try to avoid some more pain when they visit the angry Bolts.

The Kansas City Chiefs entered this season with high expectations after a playoff season in 2010 but injuries are mounting in the early going making this look like a long season. The Chiefs defense is a disaster as they lost their top safety in Eric Berry and the result has been allowing more than 40 points in their first two games.

The offense isn’t much better as star running back Jamaal Charles is out for the season with a knee injury and TE Tony Moeaki was out before the regular season even started. Things simply don’t look good for this young team that may lack leadership with a young head coach and defending the unfairly sized Chargers receiving corps on the road only figures to add to the nightmare.

The San Diego Chargers made a furious comeback to overcome a familiar special teams mistake in week one but in week two Phillips Rivers couldn’t navigate his team to victory after four turnovers in New England.

The Chargers aren’t much different than in previous seasons as they have an explosive offense and plenty of defensive talent but their slow starts and special teams blunders are well documented in recent history. A home game that looks like a layup could be deceptive here as the coaching motivation could be to run the ball plenty and not do a whole lot more than is necessary in order to win.

The Chargers are considered one of the best teams in the NFL right now, but they have not put together a complete game yet this season. They had to mount a comeback to beat the lowly Minnesota Vikings and then they failed to compete with the New England Patriots. If they fail to win, and win big in this game the San Diego fan base could start to get worried.
