| The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans Fight To The Finish |
All of the NFL Odds for this game and the entire week four NFL schedule can be found at online sportsbook BetPhoenix. In the past games, the Texans have had trouble putting together four quarters of offense. That was not the case on Sunday when the Texans played hard the whole time. Andre Johnson looked strong with seven catches for 128 yards, his 38th 100 yard game in his career. James Casey had five receptions for 126 yards, including a 62 yard reception leading to a touchdown. Quarterback Matt Schaub had 373 yards leading to three touchdowns. Drew Bree had his first interception of the season. The Texans suffered a major loss with Rashad Butler being lost for the season with ruptured triceps. While not a starter, Butler was a great backup player on both sides of the ball. The Texans are also playing without Arian Foster, the NFL's leading rusher who is suffering from a hamstring injury. The team has not announced when Foster will return, saying they are taking it day by day. Most teams wold be very satisfied with Ben Tate, going into last Sunday's game he was the NFL's third leading rusher, but the Texans are really missing Foster. The defense must work harder as any team that gives up 40 points will probably come up on the short end. Even with that said, many are picking the Texans to win the AFC South. Pittsburgh Steelers The Pittsburgh Steelers may wish to turn the clock back a season. They did manage to get a victory over the Indianapolis Colts 23-20. Of course, turning the clock back is not going to happen. The offense for the Steelers has been lackluster at best so far this year. Many are blaming ineffective coaching, but whatever the cause the Steelers are 20th in the league with just 85.7 running yards per game so far this year. They are also 26th in the league for yards per attempt with a measely 3.3 yards. They have been trying with four different starting combinations so far this year. In fact, fact, Pittsburgh has announced that they are looking to recruit some new players, but so far have not signed anyone. The Pittsburgh Steelers are not doing much better on defense leading the league in passing yards against them. The front seven are definitely struggling to get consistent pressure against their opponents. Shaun Suisham, the kicker, has not had a great year. Against the Colts, he missed some easy kicks and had short yardage on many others. The Steelers have also become injury plagued. Four players were helped off the field on Sunday. Both Marcus Gilbert and Doug Legursky hurt their left shoulders, but are listed as probable for Sunday. Jonathan Scott sprain his left ankle during the game and will probably not play on Sunday. The Steelers will have to get past the injury problems and come together as a team if they want to win this game.
