He should stay motivated as he is set to break several other records for the team. Viking fans don’t really know which way to turn, but they realize they have a broken team. Some are calling for all the coaching staff to be replaced, claiming they don’t know what they are doing. Leslie Fraiser has never won a game as a head coach. Others are calling for the replacement of the current quarterback with Christian Peterson who is frustrated with the way the team is playing. He says he is still glad he signed the contract to play for the Vikings. Against the Cards, the team could not even get the right players on the field at the right time. The defense of the Vikings keeps them going. The front four may be one of the best in the NFL. But, defense does not win games. Yes, it helps, but there must be some offense or all is loss. The Vikings are the second most penalized team in the NFL. Those who have watched football know that penalties can be a game killer. The Vikings must stop committing dumb mistakes that cause penalties McNabb might be too far past his prime. He may indeed need to retire. Only two teams in the NFL have won fewer games than the Vikings since the beginning of the season last year. The Vikings claim they have enough talent, but they do not seem to be using it. McNabb needs to get a win for the Vikings now or it may not be too soon he is watching the game from the bench as the Vikings plan for the future.
