| The New York Giants Look To Rebound Against the Buffalo Bills |
After impressive victories over the Kansas City Chiefs, the Oakland Raiders, and the New England Patriots the Buffalo Bills continued their magical start to the season last week as they held off Michael Vick and the "dream team" Eagles and registering their 3rd straight win at Ralph Wilson Stadium to start the season. The Bills take to the road this week as they head to MetLife stadium to take on a New York Giants club coming off a frustrating loss to the Seattle Seahawks as they attempt to keep pace in the NFC East division with a victory. The Bills have been nothing short of spectacular in their 4 wins this season on both sides of the ball as Ryan Fitzpatrick has been lights out through the air with Stevie Johnson, David Nelson, and Scott Chandler being on the receiving end of some pretty impressive offensive performances. Add in Fred Jackson's ability to run the ball and the Bills have a surprisingly talented offense that has put up some fantastic numbers and lit up plenty a scoreboard. Defensively the Bills have had a an interception return for a touchdown in 3 straight contests and lead the league in picks and will be looking to exploit a Giants team that is hit and miss week in and week out. If the Bills can establish the ground game early with Jackson and the defense can put pressure on manning it will force the Giants to alter their game plan which as we've seen doesn't work out the way Tom Coughlin wants. The New York football Giants have been a Jekyll and Hyde type of team this season as they have looked very good some weeks and absolutely destructive the next. The loss at home to a Seahawks team who isn't scaring many is very disheartening but with the way the Eagles and Cowboys have thrown games away and the Redskins having a bye week the Giants can afford the loss and can redirect their season with a statement win here against Buffalo. I think Eli Manning will come back and have a brilliant game here against the Bills who look very suspect in their last road outing against the Bengals and in my opinion the Giants are a much tougher opponent especially in new York than the Bengals are in Cincinnati. Look for Hakeem Nick to explode here and for the Giants to limit the potential of an interception by pounding the ball with Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. The Giants cannot afford to lose again at home and need a big win in this game.
