| Mississippi vs. Arkansas College Betting Game Preview |
The latest college football odds can be four at online sportsbook Bet Phoenix. For all of your college football wagering needs, Bet Phoenix is the best place to bet on college football. It hasn’t been a very fun season for Houston Nutt and the Ole Miss Rebels as they have yet to win a SEC game and they are coming off of their worst loss of the year, a 52-7 stomping at the hands of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Mississippi has gone with three different QB’s this season and none have really been all that effective and the better the competition gets, the worse they seem to be. Randall Mackey has been the QB of choice of late and he’s done absolutely nothing to inspire confidence in him whether it be his 47.1 completion percentage or his 95 rushing yards. Branden Bolden has just 105 rushing yards this season and is coming off of a suspension as Jeff Scott really has been the entire offense and a highlight reel unto himself with 361 yards rushing and six touchdowns and 12 receptions. Ja-Mes Logan leads Ole Miss with 16 receptions and Donte Moncrief has 10 with two scores. With the offense being ineffective the defense has been on the field plenty and have struggled. Mike Marry has 55 tackles and two sacks while Charles Sawyer has four interceptions. The Arkansas Razorbacks are one of college football’s surprise teams and despite having lost a game Bobby Petrino’s team is ranked in the top 10. Tyler Wilson is simply getting it done at QB and has no one wondering where Ryan Mallett went as Wilson has completed 69.9 percent of his passes for 12 touchdowns and three interceptions. Ron Wingo Jr. and Joe Adams have simply torn it up in the backfield has gotten the load in the backfield but the Hogs have used eight different players to carry the ball. Jarius Wright leads the Arkansas receivers with 33 catches while the dangerous Joe Adams has 27. The Razorbacks defense has been stronger in the second half of games this year coming back against Texas A&M and then just controlling Auburn. Jerry Franklin is Arkansas’ leading tackler with 51 followed by Alonzo Highsmith with 41. The Razorbacks have too much talent on the football field, but that won’t stop the Rebels from going all out in hopes of getting an upset.
