| Miami vs. Georgia Tech Preview |
The latest college football odds can be four at online sportsbook Bet Phoenix. For all of your college football wagering needs, Bet Phoenix is the best place to bet on college football. On Saturday in Miami, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will travel to face a recharged Miami University. Last week, Georgia Tech suffered its first loss of the season to Virginia, a 24-21 defeat. Miami got a much needed win against North Carolina, evening their mark at 3-3. The Yellow Jackets got grounded last week, and perhaps were given a dose of reality. Virginia had two weeks to prepare for the vaunted triple-option rushing attack of Georgia Tech and it showed. The Cavaliers forced quarterback Tevin Washington into being the primary ball-carrier, and narrowed his chances to execute the pitch. The Yellow Jackets became very one dimensional, only passing for a meager 24 yards. Perhaps the most alarming of all for Georgia Tech was the inability of the defense to get key stops, which surrended 407 total yards to Virginia's offense. With each passing week, Miami begins to improve under first year head coach Al Golden. The Hurricanes jumped out to an early 14-0 lead against North Carolina last week and never looked back. The final score ended up 30-24, but North Carolina scored a touchdown with under a minute to play to cut the lead to six. Jacory Harris, who has been criticized for his tendency to throw interceptions, made good decisions and went his third consecutive game without throwing an interception. The Hurricanes now have to take it to the next level and win against good teams in convincing fashion for other teams to take them seriously. If they can consistently put great efforts out on the football field they will get noticed, but it all starts with a tough game against Georgia Tech.
