| Colorado vs. Oregon College Betting Game Preview |
The latest college football odds can be four at online sportsbook Bet Phoenix. For all of your college football wagering needs, Bet Phoenix is the best place to bet on college football. Colorado began each period strong scoring on senior quarterback Tyler Hansen's passing touchdown to senior wide receiver Kyle Cefalo, freshman placekicker Will Oliver's 46-yard field goal and freshman running back Tony Jones running one in to begin the final two quarters. It was what the Buffaloes did the final nine minutes of each period which stung as the 5-1, 3-0 Huskies outscored Colorado 38-0 during those stretches. At College GameDay in Eugene the home team started off slowly offensively fumbling on their first possession before punting. Getting two three-and-outs was the defense. After the Sun Devils' second punt, the Ducks wasted little time scoring on the third play of the drive thanks to freshman RB De'Anthony Thomas bursting through the seams for 16 yards to level the score at seven. A few minutes after Arizona State took the lead 14-7, Oregon appeared to tie it up, but an illegal block negated the TD. The culprit of the penalty made up for his error by catching a TD after a Devil penalty kept the drive alive. Senior WR Lavasier Tuinei reeled in junior QB Darron Thomas' 28-yard pass in the corner of the end zone. Then again after another Arizona State score, the Duck defense came up big intercepting junior QB Brock Osweiler and running it back to midfield. From there it took Oregon 24 seconds on three plays to navigate the rest of the field to go up 21-17 at the break. Senior tight end David Paulson's 12-yard catch capped the drive from Thomas who threw three blistering balls to receivers. Thomas however sustained an injury to begin the third quarter as the Ducks punted the ball to the Sun Devils who struck quickly to regain the lead 24-21. Think Oregon was going to press with a backup QB freshman Bryan Bennett in charge of the controls? Think again. Bennett led the Ducks down the field with the RB Thomas finding his way to the end zone capping a six-play 68-yard drive in 1:50. A gift call on Bennett not fumbling the football turned what could have been Arizona State's ball to an Oregon TD two plays later with junior RB Kenjon Barner on the ground. Sophomore PK Alejandro Maldonado's FG to begin the fourth quarter made it a two-TD difference. After the Sun Devils cut the deficit down to 11 Maldonado added his second FG of the night to wrap up the scoring. This game should not be close as Oregon has way too much talent and that is why the latest college football spread has the Ducks favored by more than three touchdowns. Colorado will have to give it an extra effort and get some luck to keep this game close.
