| Oklahoma State vs. Missouri Tigers Game Preview |
The latest college football odds can be four at online sportsbook Bet Phoenix. For all of your college football wagering needs, Bet Phoenix is the best place to bet on college football. Oklahoma State rocked No. 24 Texas 38-26 in Austin. The Cowboys moved the football with relative ease the first three quarters but couldn't punch it in during the fourth other than the 4-2, 1-2 Long Horns tackling senior quarterback Brandon Weeden in the end zone for a safety. The two points for Texas was the only score during the final period as sophomore running back Joseph Randle's one-yard touchdown run accounted for all the points during the first. Following the Long Horns tying the game, Weeden hooked up with junior wide receiver Justin Blackmon for a score. Sophomore RB Jeremy Smith's 30-yard TD rumble put the Cowboys on top 21-10 at the break. Sophomore cornerback Justin Gilbert's 100-yard kickoff return began an absurd start to the second half. Twelve seconds later Texas ran one back 100 yards. Another Long Horns TD transpired before junior placekicker Quinn Sharp sank a 22-yard field goal to put Oklahoma State ahead by seven. Then Smith raced 74 yards into the end zone. The Cowboys couldn't do much on third down converting 2/of/12 third downs, but did enough on the first two downs to win the game. It didn't hurt also Texas had two more turnovers for the day. Missouri is coming off an impressive 52-17 drilling of 3-3, 0-3 Iowa State. Sophomore QB James Franklin ran two TDs in and threw three others to senior tight end Michael Egnew, senior WR Wes Kemp and junior WR T.J. Moe. RBs sophomore Henry Josey and junior Kendial Lawrence also ran in for scores as senior PK Grant Ressel sank a 23-yard FG at the first-half gun to put the home team in front 31-10. The Tigers thwarted 2-4, 1-1 Miami(Ohio) in Week One 17-6 at home and then whipped 2-4, 1-2 Western Illinois in Week Three 69-0. Missouri proved to do it against stiffer competition too last week against Iowa State. The bar is raised even higher when Oklahoma State steps onto Faurot Field this Saturday. The Cowboys need to avoid the letdown and continue to put out strong efforts if they want to be considered a top team in the country.
