| Alabama vs. Tennessee Betting Game Preview |
The latest college football odds can be four at online sportsbook Bet Phoenix. For all of your college football wagering needs, Bet Phoenix is the best place to bet on college football. Nick Saban has the Tide in rare form as despite a slow start against Ole Miss last week Bama come storming back and ended up winning in a route. A.J. McCarron is getting better by the week as he becomes more comfortable with the concept that he simply needs to drive the ship as he has a host of talented team mates who can take matters into their own hands. Trent Richardson is coming off of a 183 yard four touchdown game at Ole Miss while Jalston Fowler carried nine times for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Marquis Maze and Darius Hanks may have been over shadowed in recent years by Julio Jones but it’s been their turn to shine as they have proved to be major players and one of the best receiver tandems in the nation. The Alabama defense hasn’t allowed more than 14 points in a game all season and Dont’a Hightower and Mark Barron are at least two names that are playing their way onto all of the All American lists across the nation. The Tennessee Volunteers look to be a team that is turning things around and headed in the right direction but Derek Dooley’s team isn’t quite turned around yet which means some tough days playing against the SEC elite. The Vols have had a tough draw facing LSU and Alabama in back to back weeks but in traditional Tennessee form they welcome the challenge. Matt Simms has taken over as the starting QB as Tyler Bray, who was off to a fine start to the season, went down until at least mid-November. Tauren Poole is day to day but look for him to give it go here in what is a rivalry game and Marlin Lane Jr. has shown that he can be exciting. Da’ Rick Rogers is coming off of a tough day against LSU but in typical Tennessee form he is a physical receiver who will play at the next level. The Tennessee defense has played with spirit and enthusiasm but against the better teams they have simply been on the field way too long to yield positive results. Austin Johnson and A.J. Johnson are the leading tacklers while Maurice Couch has the lone interception for UT thus far. If experience counts for anything, the Vols are getting plenty of it, in big games against big teams. The end result may not be favorable but if they learn from it, the Vols could be a better team in the future.
