| College Football Preview: Texas A&M vs. Missouri |
The top online sportsbook to bet on college football is Bet Phoenix as they cover all of the college football wagering odds and betting options. So much for the 3-4, 1-3 Missouri Tigers stealing the headlines last week when then BCS' No. 4 Oklahoma State crashed Columbia. Who knew the biggest upset would happen in Norman seeing BCS' No. 3 Oklahoma take a tumble six spots with a deflating loss to now No. 20 Texas Tech? Again the grind of the Big 12 season changes the landscape of the college football year. With Missouri off to College Station to face the No. 16 Texas A&M Aggies, the Tigers will try to atone for a subpar performance against the 7-0, 4-0 Cowboys. Missouri managed 463 yards of offense, 70 less than Oklahoma State, in a 45-24 loss but the big glaring number was four turnovers compared to one by the visitors. When senior placekicker Grant Ressel took the field for a chip-shot field goal for the Tigers' first points, some could see where this game was likely headed. However after falling down 21-3, Missou finally started asserting themselves offensively and defensively pulling within a touchdown at halftime. Junior running back Kendial Lawrence ran 18 yards in for a score and sophomore quarterback James Franklin threw a 34-yard bomb to junior wide receiver T.J. Moe sandwiched around a Cowboy FG. The second half however was nearly all OSU as the Tigers only tallied points thanks to Franklin bursting three yards in for a score. 5-2, 3-1 Texas A&M overcame a slow start to defeat 3-4, 0-4 Iowa State in an away game 33-17. The Aggies only scored two minutes in during the first quarter on a senior PK Randy Bullock 25-yard FG. However after the opening period, A&M scored 27 straight points, including owning a commanding 17-0 edge in the second quarter. After another Bullock FG, senior QB Ryan Tannehill threw a TD to senior WR Jeff Fuller and junior RB Michael Lamothe to put the Aggies on top 20-7 at the break. After another Bullock FG, junior RB Christine Michael's nine-yard score made it 30-9 as Bullock tallied the only fourth-quarter points to make it a two TD and two two-point conversion difference. This game could be a trap for the Aggies as they are laying double digit points to the Tigers, and if they are not careful they could be upset.
