| Washington Redskins vs. Buffalo Bills |
The latest NFL odds for week eight and in this game can be found at the top rated sportsbook, Bet Phoenix. In a season that started with so much promise for the Washington Redskins has quickly shifted into a tailspin as the NFC East squad is quickly falling from grace sitting at 3-3 after consecutive losses to the Eagles and Panthers. The Skins must now travel to Buffalo to take on the upstart Bills who had a nice week off and sitting at 4-2 are very much alive in the AFC East and the AFC Wildcard hunt. The game also will be played North of the border at Toronto's Rogers Centre as a part of Buffalo's international agreement with the Ontario capital which could act as a detriment to the Bills as there should be a pretty equal balance of both fan bases at this one. In what started off as a season of promise and confidence highlighted by Rex Grossman's proclamation that the Skins would win the NFC East has quickly turned into turmoil as Grossman has been benched in favour of John Beck and the Skins are now without two if its most explosive offensive options in Santana Moss and Tom Hightower who will be out for the remainder of the season. Tight end Chris Cooley is also among the walking wounded as he was placed on the IR but replacement Fred Davis has been more than capable of filling that void but will it be enough to generate victories especially without Hightower and Moss. The Skins are coming off a 13-point loss at the hands of the young Carolina Panthers and now they must travel internationally and take on a Bills team who has had two weeks to prepare for Washington and will be itching to get back on the field. Buffalo has been one of the league's pleasnt surprises this season and despite the question marks surrounding the Bills on the road they have been incredible at home in front of their own fans and will look to continue that trend this week. This game will reveal to the NFL, if the Redskins can stay in the playoff race all year.
