ESPN's Thursday Night football will showcase two ACC squads when Boston College hosts Florida State in Chestnut Hill.

The Seminoles come into Thursday night's contest sporting a 5-3 record overall, and a 3-2 mark in ACC conference play. After losing three straight earlier in the season, the 'Noles have rebounded with three consecutive wins, all in blowout fashion. Most recently, FSU defeated North Carolina State Saturday 34-0 in Tallahassee. Florida State rode the strong combination of EJ Manuel and smothering defense to an easy route of the Wolfpack. Manuel threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns. But the Seminoles defense deserves the credit in this one. N.C. State mustered up just 166 yards of total offense, and quarterback Mike Glennon was forced into two interceptions.

Boston College finally got a much needed win last week against Maryland by the mark of 28-17. The Terps and the Eagles are the two worst teams in the ACC and their play evidenced that fact. BC turned the ball over four times and Maryland twice, coupled with two field goal misses. Despite the sloppy play, Boston College got a breakout performance from running back Rolandan Finch, who carried the ball a staggering 39 times for 243 yards and two touchdowns. With cold temperatures and snowfall, the passing game became non-existent and the Eagles rode the heroic performance of Finch to get just their second victory of the season.
