| Purdue Boilermakers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes |
Bet Phoenix has all off the latest odds on this game and all of the college football betting action for week 11. The Boilermakers were in a tough spot last week as Purdue had to face the Badgers in Wisconsin after the Badgers have suffered two last minute road losses the weeks before. Wisconsin completely dominated the Boilermakers defeating Purdue 62-17 and outgaining the Boilermakers 605-284. Caleb TerBush has been playing solid ball for Purdue under center, but TerBush had trouble getting anything going against the Badger defense as the Purdue quarterback was 10/19 for 103 yards while throwing two interceptions. Purdue is a team that makes their living on the ground as the Boilermakers are averaging over 174 yards rushing per game, but the Badger defense completely shut down the Purdue rushing attack holding the Boilermakers to just 120 yards on the ground as a team, and no one player eclipsed the 50 yard rushing mark. Purdue has played pretty solid ball at times this year and the Boilermakers have competed with teams that looked to be out of their league but Purdue was in a bad spot this past weekend, and things don't get much better on Saturday having to face an improved Ohio State squad. The Ohio State Buckeyes are playing much better than they were at the beginning of the season thanks to solid quarterback play, and getting their players back off of suspension. That being the case, Ohio State was in a dog-fight this past weekend with the Hoosiers as Indiana kept things closer than the Buckeyes would have liked, even tying the game up at 20-20 in the third quarter. Braxton Miller once again struggled through the air completing just five passes on the day for 55 yards and one interception. Miller made up for his lackluster air attack with a solid day on the ground against the Hoosiers rushing for over 100 yards, scoring twice. The leading rusher for the Buckeyes was their star back Dan Herron who rushed for 141 yards and one score. As a team, the Buckeyes totaled 346 yards on the ground against the Hoosiers as Ohio State was able to just out physical the Hoosiers en route to their sixth win of the season. Now they have to keep it going with a win over Purdue as this game sets up for some super letdown for the Buckeyes.
