Kansas Jayhawks vs. Baylor Bears
Kansas Jayhawks vs. Baylor Bears

The Baylor Bears look to become bowl eligible with their next win and luckily they face a weak Kansas team.

Bet Phoenix has all off the latest odds on this game and all of the college football betting action for week 11.

It’s been a rough year two for Head Coach Turner Gil and his Kansas Jayhawks as they have played well and competitively in spots but they don’t seem to have the talent to hold it together for four quarters. QB Jordan Webb has decent numbers, better than many QB”s of teams with better records than KU as he has completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 1,583 yards with 12 touchdowns and six interceptions. James Sims leads the Jayhawks ground attack with 540 yards and seven touchdowns and Darrian Miller has 396 yards and four touchdowns. D.J. Beshears has 29 catches, Tim Biere has 24, and Kale Pick has 22.

The Kansas defense is where the improvement is going to need to be for this program to become successful as thus far they have just four interceptions, six fumble recoveries, and eight sacks. Steven Johnson has 99 tackles, Brad McDougald has 66, and Darius Willis has 60. Kansas has been in some close games including last week against Iowa State but they haven’t been able to close it out.

The Baylor Bears are within a win of being bowl eligible for the second consecutive year as Art Briles continues to build at winning program in Waco. QB Robert Griffin III is a Heisman Trophy contender and while he may not win it, he has done wonders for putting the Baylor program on the college football map. For the season Griffin has completed 74 percent of his passes for 2,781 yards and 26 touchdowns with just four interceptions while rushing for 386 yards and four touchdowns. Terrance Ganaway has handled the Baylor rushing attack rushing for 844 yards and 10 touchdowns. Kendall Wright is Baylor’s best receiver and one of the best players in the nation with 73 catches for 971 yards and nine touchdowns while Terrance Williams has 37 catches and seven touchdowns.

The Baylor defense gets tested weekly and thus far they have six interceptions, five fumble recoveries, and 13 sacks. Mike Hicks leads the Bears with 63 tackles followed by Elliot Coffey with 59. While Baylor’s defense gives it up the offense outscores the opponent most of the time.

Anything can happen in college football, but there is no reason to believe that the Baylor Bears will lose against Kansas.

The Clemson Tigers were on pace for a remarkable season and will now have to try and get back on the winning track this weekend.

Bet Phoenix has all off the latest odds on this game and all of the college football betting action for week 11.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will visit the Clemson Tigers Saturday in Death Valley as both schools look to rebound from losses their last time out. Wake Forest lost to Notre Dame last week 24-17 and Clemson lost two weeks ago to Georgia Tech 31-17.

After starting the season 4-1, Wake Forest has tailed off a bit and lost two of their last three games, albeit against some solid competition. The Demon Deacons are 5-4 this year overall, and also 5-4 ATS. Last week, Wake hosted Notre Dame and played the Irish tough. The Deacs had the ball inside Notre Dame’s ten yard line two times and failed to come away with points with the game on the line. Wake Forest has no one to blame but themselves for failing to come away with a victory of the Irish, having fought toe-to-toe with Notre Dame.

In their last time out, we saw Clemson suffer their first loss of the season to Georgia Tech. The Tigers failed to stop the Yellow Jackets potent offensive rushing attack and surrendered 383 rushing yards. With the Yellow Jackets pouring on so many rushing yards, Tajh Boyd and the potent Clemson offense was held to just 21 minutes of possession time. The Tigers turned the ball over four times, which is a recipe for disaster at any level of football.

The Tigers want to prove to the college football country that they deserve to be considered among one of the best in the polls even after losing a week ago. If they lose again, it won’t matter as the Tigers have to win out.
