Junior RB LaMichael James ran in from 18 yards out on Oregon's first offensive possession, but the Duck offense sputtered the rest of the first half for their lowest output of yards during an opening half all season. Oregon didn't have to turn on the afterburners after the third period with the Huskies unable to strike on the Duck defense who was led by senior safety Eddie Pleasant's two interceptions.
