Last week, N.C. State had a chance to get closer to bowl eligibility with a win, and will need to win both of their remaining contests to get a bowl birth since they have had two victories over FCS schools. The Wolfpack just could not get anything going on offense against the Eagles and had many drives halted by an inability to sustain drives and convert scoring opportunities. If N.C. State wants to have any hope against Clemson, they cannot falter and must convert drives into points. This game becomes very important to the Wolfpack as they would love to enter the college football post season and taking down a top ranked team would only help their bowl status elevate to a new level.
