Utah Utes vs. Colorado Buffaloes
Utah Utes vs. Colorado BuffaloesA pair of Pac-12 newcomers winds down their season when they go up against one another to finish up the long season.
The latest college football odds on this game and all of the other action for week 13 can be found at online sportsbook Bet Phoenix.

It was that kind of day for Colorado who fell 45-6. Only senior quarterback Tyler Hansen's 20-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Toney Clemons six seconds into the second quarter accumulated points. That's right freshman placekicker Will Oliver's extra point was pushed wide of the post.

Also being pushed was Utah in snowy Pullman all the way to overtime before the Utes survived 4-7, 2-6 Washington State 30-27. With the win the Utes kept alive the chance of representing the Pac-12 South in the inaugural conference championship. It was a game of "Match me if you can" against the Cougars with five ties recorded. The first points of the game came on junior punter Sean Sellwood's 49-yard torch to junior WR Luke Matthews. 1:14 later though and 33 seconds before halftime WSU squared the score for the second time of the evening if you count 0-0 being the first. Junior PK Coleman Petersen sank two straight field goals to put Utah on top as junior running back John White IV's TD run made it 20-10 with 7:15 to go. However both teams had quick strikes on the next two possessions with White racing 56 yards to regain the 10-point margin. But the Cougs wouldn't go away scoring twice during final 3:14 including on a 17-yard FG at the regulation gun. In OT though Petersen put through the final points as Washington State threw a pick to begin the extra period

The Utes hope for an easier time of it this week against the Buffaloes who would like to play better than last week against UCLA.

Not much on the line in this game except bragging rights as these two teams face off to try and finish this season on a good note.
