Dallas goes to Arizona hoping that they can continue their winning streak and continue making a push to win the NFC East. The Cowboys have won 4 straight and are looking to make it 5 in a row against an NFC West opponent. The Cardinals are not going to be a pushover, however, winning last week and 3 of their last 4. They have done so starting their backup quarterback, John Skelton.

Arizona is going to get Kevin Kolb back this week, though, and it could be a interesting game with him back behind center. Kolb was starting to lose the respect of his teammates, and Larry Fitzgerald was rumored to be questioning whether or not he was the answer. Having gone 3-1 without him, it will be fun to watch to see how much of a leash he will have should he struggle early. If he does, the home fans could be chanting for John Skelton again pretty quick.

The Cowboys have nothing to worry about when it comes to their quarterback. Tony Romo is the unquestioned starter, but he has had some up and down games this year. He has played lights out against teams like Buffalo, but then follows that up with a 2 interception performance against Miami last Thursday. Fortunately he has big targets in Dez Bryant and Laurent Robinson, who finished with a team high 7 catches vs. Miami.

Both defenses will have to worry about stopping the run. Dallas running back DeMarco Murray has rushed for over 100 yards multiple times this season and has over 800 yards in just a handful of games this season. Beanie Wells had an performance rushing for over 200 yards for the Cardinals last week and a touchdown. He had the most rushing yards in the NFL last week. The runner that gets contained this week will probably be playing for the losing team.

One player that should be kept in check is Cardinals cornerback/punt returner Patrick Peterson. He has returned a kick for a touchdown in 3 of the past 4 games, including a game winner in overtime against the Rams. If he keeps this up, he will be giving Devin Hester a run for his money as best special teams player in the league. Luckily for the Cowboys, he has been a liability in pass coverage, so the Cowboys could possibly have some big plays of their own thanks to him.

This game might not mean much to the Cardinals in terms of playoff/Super Bowl chances, but they do want to get a signature win this season, and give the fan base hope that there are some good things to come. It would also be nice to see Kolb solidify himself against a team that plays outside of the division. However, the Cardinals are going to have to keep DeMarcus Ware and Sean Lee occupied so that they do not wreak too much havoc in the backfield.

This game is going to be huge for the Cowboys as they try to keep the NFC East lead. They will play the Giants next week in Dallas in a game that could very well determine the winner of the division, especially if Dallas can win this week.

For Arizona, they will be going to San Francisco after they play the Cowboys, hopefully to play spoiler to the Niners chances of finishing second in the conference, as San Francisco has the division pretty much locked up with a 5 game lead with 5 games to go in the season.

As far as the early football betting lines, the Cowboys are a 6 point favorite over Arizona. This follows a trend of visiting teams being favored in games this week.

The Cardinals may not have much to play for, but they would love nothing more than to beat the Cowboys.
