NFL Week 14 Baltimore Ravens vs. Indianapolis Colts
NFL Week 14 Baltimore Ravens vs. Indianapolis ColtsTim Tebow and the Denver Broncos are winning football games, but they may get the biggest test of the season when they go up against the Chicago Bears. The Indianapolis Colts have yet to win a game and it will be a tall order this weekend when they go up against the Baltimore Ravens and one of the toughest defenses in the NFL.
The latest odds for this game and all of the other exciting games in week 14 in the NFL can be found at the top rated sportsbook, Bet Phoenix.

The Indianapolis Colts head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens in an AFC match-up. This game will mean different things to each team this week. The Colts are hoping to finally win a game and the Ravens are looking to stay in the hunt for the AFC North title.

Despite being 0-12, the Colts put up a good fight last week against the New England Patriots. They were down 31-3 in the 4th quarter, but came back to come within a touchdown of winning. If they can continue with that kind of effort, they could potentially give Baltimore a game as well.

Winning a game or two might also give them some breathing room when it comes to drafting Andrew Luck. It was reported that the Colts might not be able to fit the egos of both Luck and Manning on their roster at the same time. Not having the number one pick would alleviate that concern.

For Baltimore, they have this season to worry about, and are hoping to get healthy for the stretch run. Ray Lewis looks like he might be able to play this week. That would be great for their defense as Lewis has missed 4 games in a row with a leg injury. His return would provide a morale boost and great emotional leadership.

Beating the Colts will be all about running the ball well. Ray Rice should be able to get into a nice rhythm and keep the Colts off balance. Baltimore is hoping that Lee Evans may be able to return sometime soon and provide a veteran deep threat at wide receiver. Joe Flacco is going to need all the weapons he can get at his disposal.

Dan Orlorvsky will have Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon at his disposal against Baltimore, but it might not matter going up against Ed Reed at safety. Look for Donald Brown to keep getting touches after he finally found the endzone last week against New England.

This is a game that Baltimore simply cannot afford to lose. Tied atop the AFC North at 9-3, they have a shot at the number 1 seed in the AFC if they keep on winning. New England and Pittsburgh are also at 9-3, but Pittsburgh owns a tiebreaker over New England for the number 1 seed. However, with Cincinnati at 7-5, they are still almost assured of a playoff berth.

If Indy does win this game, it would spare Orlorvsky and Ernie Sims a dubious honor of being the only two players to play for two teams that have gone 0-16. Both were on the Detroit Lions squad that did the same thing a few years ago. Therefore, there is still plenty for the Colts to play for this week than just being a spoiler.

Next week, Baltimore will be playing host to the San Diego Chargers. This should be a good game, and hopefully Baltimore does not look past Indianapolis thinking about the Chargers.

The Colts will continue their effort to not Suck For Luck against Tennessee at home. This is a game they should lose on paper, but a divisional match-up is always a hard thing to predict for sure. The one thing for certain is that they will fight for that first win.

Baltimore is favored to win by an overwhelming 16.5 points, but that is actually an improvement over the 20.5 points that the Colts were underdogs by last week. The Colts proved they have not given up on the season and they are still playing some very good football. However after this game with the Ravens there is a good chance they will still be without a win and in the front of the line to draft Luck.
