The Demon Deacons had seven less first downs, 24-17, but were 0-or-3 on fourth down and made one turnover compared to the visitors making none and just one penalty. As well Vandy outrushed WF 297-146. Wake Forest will be one of the few teams that will have a chance to beat an SEC team in a bowl game this year when they play the Bulldogs.
