| NFL Playoffs: Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots |
For the latest odds in the NFL playoffs and the best wagering options to include propositions, check out the top rated NFL sportsbook, Bet Phoenix. The Denver Broncos and some quarterback named Tebow head to Gillette Stadium on Saturday to face off against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots are who we thought they were (sorry). New England has the NFL’s second best passing attack with an incredible average of 317 yards per game. The running game has been improved this season, but makes no mistake about it if the Pats are going to beat you it will be through the arm of Brady. The defense has been an issue for the Patriots this season as the Pats have the worst secondary in the NFL as New England is allowing just under 300 yards per game through the air The Patriots are better against the run, but keep in mind that this Denver team rushed for over 200 yards when these two teams last met. Tom Brady had a great game in the last meeting between these two clubs in week 15. Brady threw for 320 yards and two scores, while not turning the ball over once. The Denver Broncos move on in the playoffs after upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Tim Tebow had his best game as a pro throwing for 316 yards against the Steelers. Tebow missed a few open receivers but the throws that needed to be there were, including the slant in overtime that was taken to the house. The Broncos rushed for just 131 yards against the Steelers, about 30 yards fewer than their league leading season average. Pittsburgh came into this game with the mindset that they were going to force Tebow to beat them with his arm making throws down the field – and he did just that. In their last meeting the Broncos defense was not able to get the pressure on Brady they needed and Brady carved up a good Denver defense, and if the Broncos want to avoid another loss at the hands of Brady and company Denver will need to get in the face of Brady and force a turnover or two. The total has gone over the number in all five of the Patriot’s last five games. New England is just 2-4 against the spread in their last six games, and just 6-16 against the spread in their last 22 games against the Broncos. Denver is 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five games, and the total has gone over in four of the last six games for the Broncos. In the last meeting between these two teams, the Broncos were able to keep things close with the Patriots for a half until Brady and the Patriots pulled away. This is a huge line for a playoff game, and I rarely lay this many points in the NFL, especially in the playoffs but I have to think it’s the play here. Belichick like him or not is one of the best coaches to ever walk the sidelines in the NFL and you can bet the Patriots will be ready for Tebow come Saturday night. In order to be ready the Patriots may rely on Josh McDaniel who was just hired as the Patriots offensive coordinator. He drafted Tebow as a head coach of the Broncos and is still familiar with the players and some of the schemes that they run. The Patriots will listen to what he says and attempt to use it for an advantage as they prepare for this playoff game.

The New England Patriots are used to playing big games in the NFL playoffs, but for Tim Tebow, this will just be his second NFL playoff game ever.
