Arizona had won three consecutive games before Titans’ QB Vince Young threw the winning 10-yard TD pass as time expired.Backup Matt leinart would have to lead the cardinals again Sunday night if Warner cannot start as he’s still having vision problems. Leinart was 21 of 31 for 220 yards,with no TD and no INT against the Titans,and helped WR Larry Fitzgerald become the second-fastest receiver to reach 500 receptions -in his 87th game-Teammate Anquan Boldin did it in 80 games. Favre is having one of the best season of his career,throwing the ball to Sidney Rice (56 receptions for 964 yds and 4 TDs) and rookie Percy Harvin (42 for 602 yds and 5 TDs).He hasn’t been picked off in his last 4 games while throwing 12 TD passes. “Brett’s been tremendous that way”Minnesota coach Brad Childress said “The system has changed a little bit...but I think he’s got a pretty good mastery of what it is we’re doing right now.” Adrian Peterson has been outstanding with 1,084 yds running and 12 TDs this season,and rushed for 165 yds to lead Minnesota to a 35-14 win at Arizona last Dec.14. The Vikings haven’t lost since Oct 25 at Pittsburgh,when Favre threw an interception at the Steelers’18 with 1 minute left in the game and the score was 20-17 Steelers.
