2009 NFL playoff picture As we head down the stretch of what has been a phenomenal NFL betting season, here is a look at the current playoff picture as we enter this weekend's action!

AFC PLAYOFF PICTURE

1. Indianapolis Colts (14-0) - Clinched top seed in AFC with Week 14 win over Broncos.

2. San Diego Chargers (10-3) - Can clinch AFC West with 1) Denver loss or 2) Win or tie and Denver tie. San Diego clinches a first-round bye with win and Denver loss or tie and New England loss or tie.

3. Cincinnati Bengals (9-4) - Can clinch AFC North with 1) Win or 2) Tie and Baltimore loss or tie or 3) Baltimore loss.

4. New England Patriots (8-5) - Have a one-game lead over Miami and the Jets in the AFC East. Cannot clinch division or playoff berth in Week 15.

5. Denver Broncos (8-5) - Have a one-game lead over three 7-6 teams for the fifth seed.

6. Baltimore Ravens (7-6) - Seeded sixth because of better conference record than Dolphins (6-4 to 5-4; the Dolphins win the AFC East tiebreaker with the Jets based on a head-to-head sweep).

NFC PLAYOFF PICTURE

1. New Orleans Saints (13-0) - Have clinched a first-round playoff bye. Can clinch top seed with 1) Win and Minnesota loss or tie or 2) Tie and Minnesota loss.

2. Minnesota Vikings (11-2) - Can clinch NFC North with 1) Win or 2) Tie and Green Bay loss or tie or 3) Green Bay loss. Can clinch first-round bye with 1) Win and Philadelphia loss or tie or 2) Tie, Green Bay loss or tie and Philadelphia loss.

3. Philadelphia Eagles (9-4) - Cannot clinch NFC East in Week 15. Can clinch a playoff spot with 1) Win or tie and Giants loss or tie or 2) Win and Dallas win or tie.

4. Arizona Cardinals (8-5) - Can clinch NFC West with 1) Win and San Francisco loss or tie or 2) Tie and San Francisco loss.

5. Green Bay Packers (9-4) - Can clinch a playoff spot with 1) Win and Dallas loss or 2) Win and Giants loss or tie or 3) Tie and Giants loss.

6. Dallas Cowboys (8-5) - Have a one-game lead over the Giants for the final wild-card spot, but Giants have tiebreaker because of head-to-head sweep.
