Saturday 4th

Beautiful weather, blue skies and a light brise, for a perfect day of golf.

Great round with a lot of movement at the top of the leaderboard.

Tiger Woods begins the 3rd round at 10 under with a 1 shot lead but bogeys the first hole. Rod Pampling takes the lead at 10 under with a birdie ay the 3rd hole but bogeys the 4th and 5th to drop to 8 under. Then Tiger bogeys the 6th while Pampling birdies it for a 2 shots swing.

What happened? In 20 minutes, a 2 holes span, Woods goes from 1 shot back to a 3 shots lead as he birdies the 8th and eagles the 9th while Pampling drops a shot at 8. WOW!!

Unfortunatelly for Tiger he lets everybody back in with a double bogey at 11th after an errand drive and a very poor bunker shot which went in another bunker right in front.Even the world # 1 can do it,don’t feel so bad when it happens on your Sunday round.

Anthony Kim is at 9 under after a birdie at 12, tied with Woods .

The 50 years old Michael Allen, who just won the first tournament he entered on the Champions Tour, has tied the lead at 9 under by shooting the best round of the day 65.Allen has never won on the PGA Tour in his 357 starts.

Cameron Beckman is also in the club house at 9 under,66 today with an eagle at 16.

Japan’s Ryuji Imada had a great round 66 and stands at 6 under with cliff Kresge,Ryan Moore and 18 years old Danny Lee.

Kim birdies the par 5 16th to take the upright lead at 10 under.

Lucas Glover keeps playing very well,a 68 today puts him at 7 under for the tournament.

Tiger birdies 16 to join Kim in the lead at 10 under.Pampling three putts for bogey and is 3 shots off the lead.

Jim Furyk ends the day at 9 under after a 69 today, 1 shot off the lead.

Rod Pampling birdies the last hole for a 1 over par round,he is at 8 under.

Tiger pars the 18th and I have the pairing I wished for as he will play on Sunday with defending champion young gun Anthony Kim.That’s gona be fun,DON’T MISS IT !!
