Golf Betting Preview: Wyndham Championship
Golf Betting Preview: Wyndham ChampionshipThis week there are several great events that will tee it up on the tour and one of those events is the Wyndham Championship. The online sportsbook Bet Phoenix will have you covered for all of your golf betting needs. They will have odds on this event as well as the other events for this weekend on the links.

The PGA Tour heads to North Carolina this week for the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club. Arjun Atwal defends the title in the last regular season event before the FedEx Cup playoffs.

This event is a last chance for players to make it into the lucrative FedEx Cup playoffs and to remain in the picture to secure the $10 million bonus prize. There are some notable names around the bubble with only the top-125 going into next week's first playoff event - The Barclays. Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington and Angel Cabrera are all outside the top 125, as are Justin Leonard and Paul Casey. They will be looking for solid performances this week to move up the ranking.

In this event there are several groups to keep an eye on. Two-time major champion Retief Goosen, young star Anthony Kim and Virginia Tech alumnus Johnson Wagner go off at 7:30 a.m. Ten minutes later, the next group is 2008 champ and Grimsley alum Carl Pettersson, 24-year-old South Korean Kyung-Tae Kim (who is ranked No. 20 in the world) and Pat Perez.

Three-time major champion Padraig Harrington, major winner Justin Leonard, and world No. 17 Paul Casey start at 7:30 a.m. Ten minutes later, three-time major champ Ernie Els, young star Camilo Villegas and Cameron Beckman tee off.

In the afternoon: Major winner David Toms (last year's Wyndham runner-up) and 20-something Wake Forest alums Bill Haas and Webb Simpson start at 12:30 p.m. Next on the tee comes a trio of major champions -- Lucas Glover, Jim Furyk and Vijay Singh.

Defending champ Arjun Atwal tees off at 12:50 p.m. on No. 1. He's paired with two-time major champion Angel Cabrera and Australia's Stuart Appleby.

Whatever golf that you like to watch, outside of Tiger Woods, there is a good chance that he will be at this tournament this weekend. Pick your favorite and wager on him at Bet Phoenix for a chance to win.
