Chris Riley and Jeff Maggert shot 7 under par 63 on the second round of the Wyndham Championship to lead after 36 holes with Ryan Moore(65), at -11.

Sergio Garcia with 64 on Friday is T 4 with Bill Haas and Chez Reavie at -9.Sergio’s putter was his best club in that round and the Spaniard now is thinking of doing better than just getting in the Fedex Cup Playoffs(currently 115th ). Fred Couples is at -8, T 7 after two 66s and keeps his chances alive to play next week.

Tiger Woods has announced he will play in the first Fedex Cup Playoff at The Barclays on August 27-30.Tom Watson is the only player of the125 currently qualified who hasn’t commited to enter.

Brad Bryant followed his 10 under par round on Thursday by a level par 72 on Friday.He still leads the field at the JELD-WEN Tradition,the last 2009 Senior Major tournament but only by 1 shot over defending champion Fred Funk at -9 with a 68 and a 67 on his opening rounds.John Cook and Larry Mize,both with 67 on Friday, joined Loren Roberts(71) in a tie for 3rd place at -8. The Argentine Eduardo Romero is the only International player in the top 10,he’s T 6 at -7 with Lonnie Nielsen and Mike Reid. Fred Funk is on a roll,Roberts is close,Bryant will have to do better than 72 on Saturday to keep the lead.
