The Struggling Ottawa Senators Host The Banged Up Montreal Canadiens
The Struggling Ottawa Senators Host The Banged Up Montreal CanadiensThe Ottawa Senators are one of the worst teams in the entire NHL and they can’t seem to do anything right. When they face off against the Montreal Canadiens they may finally have a shot of winning as the Canadiens have a recent slew of injuries.

Bet Phoenix has all of your NHL wagering needs covered with offer great wagering opportunities on every game on the schedule.

In the last game against Buffalo, the Canadiens were hit by the injury bug. Montreal forward Max Pacioretty had to stay in the hospital to be looked at after being struck by a shot by a teammate during the game. Pacioretty sustained what the team called an upper body injury that led him to be wheeled by stretcher into an ambulance that whisked him away to a hospital.

This happened just a few minutes after the Canadiens lost forward Mike Cammalleri to what the team called an upper body injury. This could hurt the lineup and leave Montreal shorthanded.

The Ottawa Senators will attempt to take advantage of the weakened team, but nothing has gone right for the Sens this year.

They have trouble scoring on a consistent basis and are horrible on their home ice. The Sens have five straight losses at SB Place and just nine wins in 25 home dates. They also are dealing with injuries as center Jason Spezza has missed ten games. Without him the Sens are 1-6-3 and cannot seem to find anyone to take his place.

The Canadiens are 10-3 in their last 13 against the Northeast, 6-1 in their last seven road games when facing a team with a home winning percentage of less than 40 percent and 5-2 in their last seven overall.

The Senators are 8-21 in their last 29 against a team with a winning record, 5-16 in their last 21 Friday games, and 8-22 in their last 30 overall.
