The Pittsburgh Penguins Look To Cool Down The Buffalo Sabres
The Pittsburgh Penguins Look To Cool Down The Buffalo Sabres The Buffalo Sabres are making a late run for a playoff spots and are playing spectacular hockey. They take on the front runners in the Eastern Conference as they battle against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night.

The best online sportsbook to bet on the NHL is BetPhoneix. They offer great wagering opportunities on every game on the schedule.

Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have missed multiple games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, yet they have managed to still win games with strong defense and great goaltending.

Malkin returns to the ice after missing five games with a sinus infection and will attempt to help the Penguins shut down the red-hot Sabres who are making a move to join the teams in the NHL post season.

Pittsburgh will be looking or its fifth straight victory while visiting Buffalo has won four of the last five games.

The Penguins are 7-3-1 without Crosby and 4-1-0 without Malkin. They have allowed just 1.91 goals per game over the last 11, and that has led to victories without the luxury of a high octane offense.

The Pens have a two-headed monster at goal; tender as Backup Brent Johnson made 20 saves in his last game against the New York Islanders, but he was ejected for fighting with opposing goaltender Rick DiPietro late in the game. If he is unable to go then the Penguins have another option.

Marc-Andre Fleury Fluery is a brick wall between the pipes as he’s 6-0-0 with a 1.64 goals-against average in his last six starts. Fleury has dominated the Sabres to the tune of 6-1-0 with a 2.26 GAA in his last seven against Buffalo.

Buffalo has lost five of its last six trips to Pittsburgh but hope to ride a wave of recent success in order to obtain a victory. The Sabres, playing their first game since the All-Star break, are 9-3-1 in their last 13 and in 10th place in the East just two spots out of a playoff spot.

The Penguins are 50-18 in their last 68 home games against a team with a losing road record and will shut down the Sabres and grab another win without their best player on the ice.
