| The Pittsburgh Penguins Try to regroup in the third game against the Tampa Bay Lightning |
Bet Phoenix is the best place to wager on NHL playoff hockey. From round one to the Stanley Cup, Bet Phoenix has all of the great wagering opportunities and NHL Odds for the playoffs. In Game 1, Tampa Bay looked like a team made up of players who had never participated in the playoffs. Just 48 hours later, it was a different Lightning squad that took the ice at Consol Energy Center. Tampa Bay struck early and often and cruised, evening the best-of-seven series at 1-1. Eric Brewer, Vincent Lecavalier, Nate Thompson, Martin St. Louis and Mattias Ohland scored for Tampa Bay, which went 2-for-6 with the man advantage after only receiving one power play the previous game. Craig Adams scored the lone goal for the Penguins. Tampa Bay led 3-0 in the second period, but Adams' goal brought the Penguins to life. However, St. Louis scored from a bad angle with 14 seconds remaining in the second period to make the lead three again. Brewer finished with a goal and two assists, and Simon Gagne had a three-point night. The Penguins simply did not look like the Penguins on Friday night, and as a result, their best-of-seven series against Tampa Bay is tied, 1-1. Costly penalties, sloppy mistakes and positional problems all haunted the Penguins in a 5-1 loss to the Lightning at Consol Energy Center. Many of the Penguins' best players struggled in Game 2. Marc-Andre Fleury, so brilliant in Game 1 against Tampa Bay, stopped only 16 of 20 shots. Although only one of the goals could be considered soft, it was not one of Fleury's better performances. He allowed a goal on the first shot of the game, something that became a major problem is last season's second-round loss to Montreal. Jordan Staal also had a disappointing game. After playing so well against the Lightning in Game 1, Staal was a minus-3 and was in the penalty box when Tampa Bay took a 2-0 lead in the first period. Throw in bad performances from Paul Martin and Kris Letang, who were responsible for three of Tampa Bay's goals, and it's easy to see why this series is deadlocked going to the Sunshine State for Game 3. The Penguins are 20-6 in their last 26 games following a home loss of 3 or more goals and they win game three with an inspired performance. Hockey Picks: Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins won game one of this series with great defense and goal tending. They lost game two because they did not play great defense, so it will be interesting to see what game three will reveal.
