The Buffalo Sabres won the first game in the series against the Philadelphia Flyers, but have been unable to win again.

Two second-period turnovers cost Buffalo, with Danny Briere scoring just 2:44 into the period after a giveaway behind the Sabres' goal and Nikolay Zherdev making it 3-1 late in the second. Nathan Gerbe pulled Buffalo within one goal heading into the third, but the Sabres failed to capitalize on a five-on-three and gave up an empty-net goal.

Ryan Miller says the Buffalo Sabres haven't shown the Philadelphia Flyers their best game. He also knows they're running out of time to do so. The Sabres have lost two in a row for the first time since February, dropping a 4-2 decision to the Flyers on Monday.
