NASCAR Cup at Homestead-Miami
NASCAR Cup at Homestead-MiamiSunday, November 21, will be the final race for the NASCAR Cup at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida. Race coverage starts at 1:00pm on ESPN and this year's champion is still anyone's guess as the top three points leaders can all legitimately walk away with the trophy after the Ford 400 this weekend.

Denny Hamlin still leads with 16 points over four-time champion Jimmie Johnson. Third place is only 46 points behind the leader as Kevin Harvick joins Denny Hamlin in hopes of dethroning Jimmie Johnson. Third-place Kevin Harvick could win the Cup if he places seven spots better than Denny Hamlin and a minimum of four spots better than Johnson. As for Johnson winning it all, if he wins the race and Hamlin finishes third, it would be his title for the fifth year in a row.

All eyes will be on the track as fans watch to see how teammates will help each other out by blocking and making it hard to pass for the contenders. Seven drivers who will not win the Cup can make all the difference by playing a major role in helping their teammates walk away as champion.

Which driver has the best chance to win the race and the coveted championship on Sunday? It could be a winner takes all. Last year Jimmie Johnson was holding the championship trophy and Denny Hamlin had the race trophy, this year Hamlin wants both. Johnson finished 5th at the final race of the season, but ended up with a 141 point lead over second-place Mark Martin. Johnson has not had to fight in the last four years coming into Homestead, because he only had to finish in a fairly decent spot to take the Cup. It will not be that easy for him this year since he's had to fight off Hamlin and Harvick.

The fight will be intense and could see Hamlin and Johnson engaging all day long. This could play in Harvick’s favor as they could take each other out with rubbing and bumping each other all over the track, making Harvick the champ.

Late Sunday afternoon, we will all know the answer to the year-long question of who is this year’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion. It could to be the most exciting finish in the history of NASCAR, as it should come right down to the last lap.
