Spain might have started this tournament in poor form, but over the last two games has rediscovered their confidence and shown the world why they are one of the favorites to win the World Cup. David Villa and company have been improving each game and come into their tilt against Portugal knowing they can beat them , but also knowing they will have to play their best futbol to do so. Portugal led by one of the world’s best in Cristiano Ronaldo, have one of the highest powered offenses in the game and showed just that when they absolutely humiliated North Korea 7-0 in group play....sorry Kim Jong "you be illin"

This game will likely be won by a beautiful goal let in by broken defense off the break or a set piece, which both sides excel at and both are unfortunately capable of being on either side of that equation. Even though their defensive schemes are solid, both sides like to take offensive chances which can open the field up for solid scoring chances on the other end. I see this game going very late tied or even scoreless and in the end Spain just has to much talent, belief, and ability to not come out victorious and on to the quarters. Don’t be surprised to see David Villa boot the winner yet again for the Spanish Fury.
