World Cup Semi Final Preview-Germany Vs Spain
World Cup Semi Final Preview-Germany Vs SpainWEDNESDAY JULY 7TH

SPAIN VS GERMANY 2:30 PM EST (CURRENT BETPHOENIX.COM LINE IN BOLD)

SPREAD-SPAIN PICK -$111 GERMANY PICK -$109 MONEY LINE - SPAIN +$165 GERMANY +$165 DRAW +$200

It should be an epic semi final as two of the worlds top five ranked teams square off with a berth in the World Cup Final on the line. Both these sides have had their moments of triumph and disappointment in this tournament, but both come in on highs after their quarterfinal wins, especially Germany who blasted Argentina 4-0. Spain has never won the World Cup and finally broke through for their first European Championship in 2008 after years of underachievement. If they are able to beat Germany and win the title, they will possibly overtake Brazil as the greatest team in the world.

So with so much at stake for both sides their biggest stars are going to have to come to play and make a difference from the first kickoff. When you talk about Spain you have to talk about World Cup leading goal scorer David “Bob “ Villa who seems to always find a way to put in the game winner for the Red Fury and when you talk about Germany it has been the “Miroslav Klose-Encounters of the Third Kind” Show as he has been en fuego from the get-go and not letting the fesque get in the way of his brilliance.

This game might be won by someone like Spain’s Fernando Torres , who is capable of scoring goals in bunches but has yet to breakthrough in this World Cup or for Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, who other than having one of the best names ever, is Germany’s Landon Donovan for you soccer newbies. I think this will be one of the great semi finals played in recent memory, with breathtaking counter attacks on both sides and could go very late tied, but in the end like I told you last time around, David Villa is going to find a way to help advance Spain one step closer to their first ever World Cup Title.
