The Gamecocks may have a nickname ripe for laughter, but they sure can play some football. QB Stephen “Jerry” Garcia played the game of his life and Steve “I can’t live without my visor” Spurrier finally got his signature win since he took over USC as they stunned the national champs.

I might have been there , and it might have been a Michigan home game, but it sure didn't feel or look like one.... as Little Brother Bo-peep Sparty pushed around the Wolverines in one of the biggest wins for Michigan State football since Alf was popular on TV.

The "Quack Attack" up in Eugene, Oregon might be the best football team in the country and with the way their schedule sets up, has an excellent shot at playing in the BCS National title game. RB La”George”Michael James has been superb and QB Darron Thomas has long made Ducks fans forget about Jeremiah “Was A Bullfrog” Masoli

ARGUMENTS LOST-

"Shoelace" is still the Heisman front runner, but the Wolverines took a major step backwards as their inability to win rivalry games in the Rich “Lighting” Rod era continued with the loss at home to Michigan State. They have not beaten the Spartans in basketball or football for over 1007 days and in Ann Arbor that is as bad as someone talking crap about Gerald Ford’s presidency.

The once mighty Florida Gators would have never lost a game like they did at home to LSU this past weekend in previous years. Tim Tebow is gone (thank god), but it is not just cause of his absence that Florida is struggling. The offense line seems clueless as to how to block at times , the defense gives up tons of huge plays, and their special teams have been anything but special. Hey Urban...wish you had stayed retired??

I often wonder what squirrels say to each other and if 95% on the conversations have to do with nuts…..

IOWA AT MICHIGAN 3:30 PM EST( IOWA -3)

This will be the most important week of the year for the Wolverines no matter what happens the rest of the way, cause they will have to show they can respond after a crushing loss. If they do not the rest of the season won't really matter. Iowa quietly has rebounded from their early road loss to Arizona and has a legitimate shot at a Big Ten title if they continue to improve. A Michigan loss here and the season could unravel, so look for "Shoelace" to get back on track and for the Michigan defense to play at least a shade above a Pop Warner teams.

7.4 Gobble Monster’s on Michigan

ARKANSAS AT AUBURN 4:30PM EST- ( AUBURN - 3.5)

This should prove to be one of the more exciting games all year in college football and has a great chance at coming down to the final possession. Auburn QB Cam “Juice” Newton has been extraordinary this year and the Tigers defense has been one of the best in the country. The Hogs have one of the best QB’s in the country as well in Ryan “Go Blue” Mallet and seem to just know how to win. Look for one of the defenses to cause a key turnover late which will likely lead to a win.

8.6 Gobble Monster’s on ARKANSAS

OHIO STATE AT WISCONSIN 7:00PM EST (OHIO STATE -4)

In previous years this could be a dangerous game for the Bucks , but with how they have been playing as of late the Badgers should be no trouble. Wisconsin has a team capable of winning this game , but have not put together a complete game against a team yet this year that could even be used as a reference for an upset here. Look for Ohio State to control this game from the start and for Terrelle “Richard” Pryor to blow up yet again and continue to make a case for the Heisman.
