BY DAN THE MAN LEACH HOST SPORTS EDGE RADIO SHOW The Yellow Jackets come buzzing into Blacksburg Thursday night in a key game in the ACC’s Coastal Division against the 20th ranked Virginia Tech Hokies. The winner of this has won the Coastal Division in each of the last five years and this year should be no different. The Hokies might have started the season in an absolute tailspin with a tough loss to a great Boise State team and then inexplicably to James “Dolly” Madison of the FCS. Since those fateful opening two weeks they have righted the ship, won six in a row, and are working their way up the top 25 rankings. The Jackets have at times looked like the team that dominated the ACC last season and at others looked like college football’s version of the Los Angeles Clippers. Jackets QB Josh Nesbitt though has been strong most of the season and is one of the better running QB’s in college football. Hokies QB Tyrod Taylor is fourth in the nation in passing efficiency and has thrown ten touchdowns since his last interception PREDICTION(BASED ON A 1-10 RANDY MOSS ABSOLUTE D BAG SCALE) 7.4 D BAGS ON GEORGIA TECH - The Yellow Jackets might have shown signs of weakness at times this year, but this point spread is absurd and lacks all respect for a team that has simply been superb ATS over the last three plus years in ACC play and especially in big games where they have been an underdog. Look for this to be a one score game without and with the legs and strong arm of Nesbitt , it would not be a far stretch to see the Yellow Jackets win this one outright.
